Why Trade In?
In the UK it is estimated that £140million of clothing reaches landfill each year¹. 95% of this waste could have been recycled in some way².
We’re on a mission to radically reduce the amount of clothing going to landfill each year. Extend the life of your wardrobe, by sending us the Baukjen items you no longer wear.
We’ll hand check every item we receive, refreshing any items that can be resold in our Ozone Chamber before making them available to purchase. Anything that we can’t resell, will be recycled or repurposed.

Frequently asked questions
How do I start a trade-in?
Simply use our trade-in service to select the items you want to trade-in. Post your items to us and once received, we’ll assess them and send you a credit to use on a future purchase.
What can I trade-in?
All gently worn and laundered Isabella Oliver items with the labels attached are eligible for trade-in.
We buy back Isabella Oliver items that are clean, undamaged, and unmodified, regardless of age or where it was originally purchased.
What items don’t you accept?
All items must have original labels intact. Damaged items with stains, rips or holes are not accepted. Please note. We cannot offer credit for damaged items.
Do you accept items that are not Isabella Oliver?
We accept other brands, offering a single credit for these items. When placing your trade-in order, please select ‘Other Brands’ to register these items.
What do you do with the product?
All items will be hand checked when received, and if possible, refurbished for resale. Any items that are not resellable will be repurposed or recycled through one of our partners.
What happens if I send my items, but they aren’t accepted?
Items that don’t meet our trade-in standards/criteria will be repurposed or recycled. We will not issue trade-in credit for these items. Please note. These items cannot be sent back to you, but we are happy to recycle or repurpose them on your behalf.
How much credit will I receive?
The credit you receive will be based on the type and condition of your garment. Estimates are provided when registering your items. All items will be reviewed and certified before the credit is issued. Items that are unsellable will not receive credit.
When will I receive my credit?
We aim to process all trade-ins within 5 working days of receiving them. Once we’ve processed your trade-in, your credit will be issued immediately via email.
What can I use my credit on?
Your trade-in credit can only be used in a single transaction. Credits are valid for 12 months and cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or offers.
Which countries do you accept trade-ins from?
Trade-ins are currently only accepted within the UK.
How many items can I trade-in?
A maximum of 5 are permitted per trade-in.
Who pays for postage?
Shipping is free. Once you've registered your items, you’ll receive a free tracked shipping label.
