Why Trade in
In the UK it is estimated that £140million of clothing reaches landfill each year¹. 95% of this waste could have been recycled in some way².
We’re on a mission to radically reduce the amount of clothing going to landfill each year. Extend the life of your wardrobe, by sending us the Baukjen items you no longer wear.
We’ll hand check every item we receive, refreshing any items that can be resold in our Ozone Chamber before making them available to purchase. Anything that we can’t resell, will be recycled or repurposed.

| How do I start a trade-in? |
|
Simply use our trade-in service to select the items you want to trade in. Post your items to us, and once received, we’ll send you a credit for a future purchase. Steps:

| What can I trade in? |
|
We accept all gently worn and laundered Isabella Oliver items with labels attached. Signs of wear like pilling, loose seams, or broken zips are okay. Items should be clean and unmodified. |
| What items don’t you accept? |
|
Items must have original labels intact. We don’t accept: - Items with stains, rips, or holes - Unwashed items - Altered items Damaged items can still be sent for recycling, but no credit will be issued. |
| Do you accept items that are not Isabella Oliver? |
| Yes! We accept other brands and offer a single credit for them. Select "Other Brands" when registering your trade-in. |
| What do you do with the product? |
| Items are hand-checked and, if possible, refurbished for resale. Otherwise, they are repurposed or recycled. |
| What happens if my items aren’t accepted? |
| Non-eligible items will be recycled or repurposed. No credit is issued, and items cannot be returned. |
| How much credit will I receive? |
| Credit depends on the type and condition of the item. Estimates are given when registering items. |
| When will I receive my credit? |
| We process trade-ins within 5 working days of receiving them. Credits are issued immediately via email. |
| What can I use my credit on? |
| Credits can only be used in a single transaction, are valid for 12 months, and cannot be combined with other discounts. |
| Which countries do you accept trade-ins from? |
| Trade-ins are currently accepted only within the UK. |
| How many items can I trade in? |
| A maximum of 5 items per trade-in. |
| Is shipping free? |
| Yes! Once you register your trade-in, you’ll receive a free tracked shipping label. |
